Error code 1L and Error code 08 are general activation errors.
Please ensure that your activation details have been entered correctly. Common mistakes include confusing the number '0' with the letter 'O' or lowercase 'L's with uppercase 'i's. The best thing you can do to avoid mistakes is to copy and paste your email address and serial code directly into their appropriate fields on the activation page. (Ensure that you are not copying a 'space' on either side of your serial)
If that doesn't help, please ensure that no security program or firewall is blocking Riffstation from accessing the internet. Riffstation only needs internet access whilst you activate.
Check to see if you can reach wyday.com using internet explorer or safari. (Try both wyday.com and https://wyday.com) We use limelm to manage our activations and if your computer has trouble reaching their server, your activation will fail.
Please also ensure that your computer's clock is correctly set.
Finally, try the following (Windows only):
- Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder where you installed Riffstation. The default folder is C:\Program Files (x86)\Riffstation.
- Right click on the Riffstation icon and click 'Run as administrator'.
- Enter your details and activate. (You may be asked for a Windows administrator password which will need to be entered.)
